If you haven’t noticed, things have been a little slow around here due to IRL stuff. I went away at the beginning of July, then went to a music festival, and then I moved house. I also now work across two sites so my working week seems busier too. It’s all been fun though, well apart from moving house, but that at least has been successful!
Anyway, seeing as I failed to do a June round-up and July was so sparse, I’ll do a quick summary for both.

August Releases
Here’s my pick of the August Releases
- The Smaller Evil ~ Stephanie Kuehn (2nd)
- When Everything Feels Like the Movies ~ Raziel Reid (4th)
- The Hummingbird’s Cage ~ Tamara Dietrich (25th)
- Furthermore ~ Tahereh Mafi (30th)
Are you looking forward to any of these?
Hummingbird and When everything feels like the movies both sound so good — lovely choices!
Thanks! Looking forward to Hummingbird 🙂
I feel like this summer was supposed to be all about books but I was barely online in July and did not read much. It seems like August will be the same. Real life is taking over! 🙂
I really like your wrap-up format.
Thanks! Yeah I really hate it when real life takes over. It’s nice to be busy but I like it to be more balanced than it has been. I’m looking forward to Autumn already…hoping for lots more reading time then 🙂
