About

Yeah I’m 30…ish, and what!? I can still fall in love with a pretty YA book cover and dream about castles and princes and princesses and unicorns you know. I can still read Twilight without a hint of shame and I will never, ever accept the fact that Buffy the Vampire Slayer is no more (no, I’m sorry but the comics do not count).

I’m a creative writing graduate living in the mostly beautiful area of Kingston-Upon-Thames (UK) where I spend my days working in the madness that is a prison library, and trying to convince the masses that it’s clearly pronounced Glasss not Glars and Baff not Barth. By night I slay dragons, fall in love with vampires and hang out with my sarcastic skeleton detective friend.

I do have real adult friends too and do real adult things, such as drink too much wine, cook interesting combinations of food and watch way too much TV. I am also known to get very excited by tennis, men who love men, and films with Tom Hardy in.

I started Lipsyy Lost & Found in 2013 as a place to store reviews and rant about books and other things, and since then it’s taken on a life of its own. I’ve created a monster!

Comments make me happy, I mean, I don’t mind talking to myself but it’s nice to get into a debate once in a while you know?

What’s in a a name!?
Lipsy is a nickname of mine which I’ve had since I was at college. The extra Y is just to keep consistent on social media as ‘Lipsy’ was already taken when I first started Tweeting and things. You know how it is. Anyway, enough of the boring….
