To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…
• What are you currently reading? • What did you recently finish reading? • What do you think you’ll read next?
I’m pretty much back on track with ARCs and reviews and things, so whooooop for that! Here are my answers for this week:
Currently Reading: I finally, finally, Finally got my copy of The One and it’s going too quickly. I don’t want it to end!
Recently Finished: I finished The Apple Tart of Hope and Take Back the Skies this week. I loved them both! Click on the links if you want to read my reviews.
Up Next: Now this is a hard one. I have some author review books I really need to start but I’m going up north at the weekend so will need to take a paperback with me (no, I don’t do Kindles). I have Burial Rites, Cress, Vampire Academy #3 and many more to choose from….how to choose!!
I think Burial Rites is too serious for me to pick up and down so I think I’m leaning towards Cress (it’s been too long a wait already!)
Link me to your post, so I can see what you’ve been up to! 🙂
This weekend I’m doing some much needed blog admin. On my agenda is a proper ratings system, compiling a review policy & contact page and updating my TBR list. And in between all that I’ll be watching some Christmas films. Oh hello Lazy Weekend, how I love you!
In the mean time I thought I’d leave you with this…
One of my favourite WordPress functions is seeing what search terms have brought people to my blog. Some of them really crack me up. Here are some recent ones that made me do a LOL.
- What a douche
- Dorian Throne of Glass groin
- Does the movie Catching Fire have curse words in it?
- Were so hot friday (????)
- Fiction book woman see’s her mum stabbing someone from treehouse daisy.
- Hot Tucks
Share your good ones with me!! (Leave a comment 🙂 )
We’ve almost made it to another weekend. Hurrah! I’ve spent most of the evening reading the new issue of SciFi Now- one of the only magazines I ever buy (it has a great books section you guys) and this month has a feature on the great Kurt Vonnegut, highlighting his best and most bizarre novels. Blissful evening reading!
Anyway I was reminded of the following quote that I think we should take into the weekend with us. (And Beyond!) 🙂

This weekend I have enjoyed the sun (which doesn’t happen very often with my vampire skin) and got lots of reading done. It’s been nice and peaceful. Best weekend. If you lot have enjoyed yourselves as much as I have, I reckon we can make Monday not happen by the power of positive thinking…yes? GO! NOW!
Hmm it might take a while to work.
Happy Long Weekend You Guys!
I have spent most of the day at work with the phones and internet down which basically makes my job 100% redundant. But it doesn’t matter because the three day weekend starts NOW and I have a pile of amazing books to get through including Bitterblue which I received from Gollancz recently in exchange for a review. Score.
Here’s some weekend inspiration for you.
