April 2015 on Lipsyy Lost & Found

I started my new job in a prison library and I’m enjoying it. I’m learning a lot. It’s challenging and draining but really interesting. I’m drawing blanks as to what else happened in April… says a lot really.

Creative Writing graduate. A Northerner in London. I probably love books a bit too much. Also enjoy vampires, unicorns, man love, tennis & can't get enough of trashy teen novels. I find myself thinking 'What Would Buffy Do?' way too frequently. HIYA!

  1. I am so curious about your new job! It sounds both wonderful and stressful! It sounds like you enjoyed The Girl With all the Gifts?? That was one of my favorite books last year.

    1. haha the job is going well, it’s a lot like a regular library, but with a lot more locks. Lol. I did like TGWATG a lot. I wouldn’t put it on my favourites list, but it was highly entertaining.

  2. For starting a new job, you still had a great reading month! And your new job sounds interesting! I hope it’s going well!

Charlie, Presumed Dead is calling my name…have to check into that one. Thanks for putting it on my radar!

  3. You work in a prison library?! How interesting! I’ve never heard of that before! The Ice Kissed cover is GORGEOUS! ❤ Great round-up, you've read and reviewed lots of books! xx

    1. Yeah, I hadn’t either until I was looking for work LOL. It’s kind of strange and scary, but good!

      Thanks for stopping by! 🙂

  4. The Girl With All The Gifts is very high on my TBR pile! It looks like a great read. Blood Red, Snow White sounds like a good one as well, I’ve added it to my wishlist… Looks like you had a great month. 🙂
